January Jones, known for her role as mysterious housewife Betty Draper on the TV show Mad Men, with co-star Elisabeth Moss. On film she's had her fair share of bit parts and big movies, but January Jones is most proud of, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by Tommy Lee Jones. "It was great when it blew up at Cannes," January Jones told GQ. Speaking with Empire Magazine on her portrayal of Lou Ann, January said, "Sex is part of what her husband believes is owed him; like a meal, or having his sheets changed. It could be called domestic abuse, but she doesn't really know any better."

"I knew everyone and rode horses bareback, and I could run around until sundown and my mother would never worry about me because it was safe. South Dakota was a wonderful place to grow up."



"I hung out with dudes in high school [Roosevelt High in Siuox Falls]," January Jones told GQ magazine. "We were the hippies——into the Dead, Zeppelin, Phish. I was a lifeguard at the water park, and I remember the day Jerry died. Over the loudspeaker, it said: 'Jerry Garcia has died. Everybody meet in the parking lot.' I probably shouldn't say that—we were saving lives! But that was definitely a sit-in-the-chair-with-sunglasses afternoon."

At age 18 January Jones moved to New York to pursue a modeling career. January is naturally slim but only 5'7" tall; this is why she was not seen on the runway and did commercial modeling for brands like Abercombie and Fitch. Jones also spent time living and modeling in Paris. Back in school January wasn't considered pretty and wasn't a cheerleader or prom queen. 



January Jones moved to Los Angeles and began acting. After some forgettable flicks, she was noticed in Anger Management, Love Actually, and American Wedding. January had her first lead role in Love's Enduring Promise. She joined the cast of Mad Men in 2007.

During her early days as a struggling actress January Jones borrowed an Armani dress to wear for an event; she then sent them pizza and beer as thank you! "My publicist was like, 'You sent Armani pizza and beer?' But I was a little kid off the bus."

January Jones is constantly compared to Grace Kelly and Claire Danes. She has dated Julian Steinberg, actor Ashton Kutcher, singer Josh Groban, and businessman Tommy Alastra. January is reportedly now dating a long-time friend. The pretty actress says her biggest flaw is her skin: "I have dry, super-sensitive skin all year round, so I moisturize my face every morning and night with Biotherm Aquasource Ultra Moisturizing Balm."

Argentine celebrity Emilia Attias has been a model, an actress, a designer....and she's only 22!



Emilia Attias is known in Argentina for her appearances as a bikini model in the leading magazines. But she has played a more homely girl on three seasons of the soap Casi Ángeles.

Born (20 March 1987) in Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Emilia describes herself as the typical girl next door till her body changed at age 16: "I suddenly grew breasts; my bust size was 80 and in one year I went to 95. I started feeling more womanly and became aware of male attention to my body."



Emilia Attias cooks with her father Carlos in a profile for Clarin magazine. Carlos Attias, a former military man, says that as a little girl Emilia "clung to the milk bottle for a long time. Brother Gonzalo is a rugby player while father Carlos, now retired from the military, coaches a rugby team. Emilia turned designer this year with her own store and label: Idioma Romance.

As a model she says there were many temptations of a fast life, but Emilia found that most men were either too intimidated or came on too strong, till she met Naim. "With him I feel very loved, safe in everyday life, and also the most beautiful woman in the world," the actress told the magazine Caras.



Emilia Attias has the perfect body, but for the most part she hasn't worked hard for it, and hates going to the gym even now. She took dancing lessons and worked out for the dancing competition Bailando por un sueño. Emilia does ozone therapy for her skin and acupressure massages for her muscles. Attia has a membership with Figurella, one of the world's leading health franchises from Italy.

Sexy Ana Beatriz Barros started out as a fresh faced teen model, who didn't speak English, in the cut-throat fashion capital of New York.

Though she's walked with wings in the VSFS several times, Ana Beatriz Barros chose not to be a contracted angel with the famous lingerie brand. "At the time I was really between VS and L’Oreal and the deal that L’Oreal offered was better so I had to pass on the offer to become one of the VS angels."

Zoe Saldana channels Avatar's science fiction aspect, in this mini chain dress from the Spring 2010 Versace collection, at the LA premiere on Wednesday. "It’s a beautiful love story," says Zoe Saldana, who plays the character Neyitri. "She’s a warrior, she wants to be off hunting and training for a warrior life. She doesn’t want to be a princess and marry a prince."

Avatar is about a distant planet named Pandora, where live 10' tall blue humanoids named the Na'vi, and which humans from earth want to exploit by sending in soldiers as Avatars. The movie is in 3D, but Zoe Saldana and other actors, do more than just provide their voices to the characters. Avatar uses motion-capture technology to instill the actor's mannerisms and physicality into the exotic world of the Na'vi. "The toughest scenes to shoot were the kissing scenes.....because they were capturing all the muscles in our face and we couldn’t kiss with these cameras and so it took a lot of the intimacy away. But it was also tons of fun."

But she doesn't like talking about her race so much, "The fact that I have to say that, means I'm labeling myself. In her most recent movie appearance Zoe Saldana played the young Lt. Nyota Uhura in the new Star Trek movie. 30-year old Zoë lives with her longtime boyfriend, actor Keith Britton, in the LA home which she bought in 2006.

For getting the true physicality of her character Neyitri, Zoe's body was drilled for six months in a regime that included martial arts, archery and horseback riding. "I just love strong women that are in tune with their bodies — that don't just use their bodies as sex tools. I'm very dominant — feisty. I'm not a man-hater, just a very proud woman."

The 20-year old Brazilian model is the youngest Victoria's Secret Angel. Last month Emanuela de Paula signed a 3-year contract with the lingerie brand, but she has been appearing in their clothing catalog since she was 17.



Emanuela de Paula, whom the other models call 'baby angel', was shy about posing in lingerie for Victoria's Secret. "In the beginning it was kind of hard. I was ashamed to shoot only in bra and panties. But then I gained confidence....and the other angels welcomed me with open arms. "

The 5'9" tall Emanuela was born (April 25, 1989) in the city of Cabo de Santo Agostinho, located in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. Her father José de Paula is a radio announcer, and the family lived on a modest income. In 1997, 8-year old de Paula was the winner of Miss Pernambuco Child beauty contest. From then on Emanuela was set on becoming a model: "I looked at magazines and I thought that these women were so beautiful, thought of how lean I am, then I asked my grandmother to take me to (the city of) Recife, where the modeling opportunities existed."



At age 15 Emanuela de Paula was modeling for a brand at a shopping mall in Recife, when Paulo Borges, the creator of Sao Paulo Fashion Week spotted her. Signed on with the Prime Talents agency, Emanuela's next big break came in 2005 when Jennifer Lopez cast the newcomer in her fall runway show in New York City. Worldwide recognition followed after de Paula posed as Diana Ross in a editorial for W magazine, titled "Glamtastic". In 2006 Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue magazine, declared the Brazilian teenager as the "model of the season."

Emanuela de Paula said in an interview, "I don't know my background - my father is black, my mother is white with green eyes - I am what we call 'mulata'." Recently there was a controversy in Brazil when quotas were announced for Black models in Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

Emanuela de Paula supported the move. "I believe that this measure will change some people's minds. Brazil is a country of many races and mixtures, and this should be reflected on the catwalk," said the model. "I hope that in future, the designers put in dark-skinned models on their own."



Emanuela describes her fashion sense as casual-chic and she likes hanging out in jeans and tees. Her favorite designers are Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang.




Emanuela de Paula counts singing and dancing as her hobbies; she also enjoys cooking. Her favorite food is cassava with dried beef and her aunt Eliana de Paula is a pastry chef.



Emanuela de Paula has a fit and athletic body. As a teenager she had problems with cellulite, even though she was always slim. "I started to worry about it when I came to Sao Paulo to work. In Recife (lymphatic) drainage never existed," remembers de Paula. Some hormonal therapy, diet control and MLD massage, helped with her cellulite removal. Nowadays Emanuela says she follows a strict exercise regimen: "I run in the morning every day for 30 minutes, then do a few sets of sit-ups, and spend time in the sauna."
