The country of Philippines seems to produce more beautiful girls than anywhere elese in the world. Say hello to Philippines sweetheart Angelica Panganiban.


Born and raised in Manila Philippines, Angelica Panganiban is another cute young lady like Bianca Gonzales and also a sex symbol like Bianca King.

Born November 4 1986, Angelica was still very young when her parents David and Anabelle separated. She lived with her mother and grandmother, joining Ang TV as a seven year old artiste. As a child star she also did commercials and even movies. Angelica really became famous in her native Philippines when she was 15 and essaying the role of Jelai on the soap G-mik. To this day Jelai has stayed to become her pet name, along with Angel.

While Angelica Panganiban was turning into a teen star she also paid attention to her education. As a student in St. Vincent her ambition was to become a writer or journalist, which she continued to pursue at the Thames International college.

Angelica got her driving license at age 18 and has already had three accidents! Her first time the Philippines sweetheart was sideswiped by a truck——not knowing how to handle such a situation Angelica says she tried to do what is shown in movies. Get really angry, chase after the truck,etc; instead of handling things calmly. Angelica's favorite car remains the Hyundai Starex.

Angelica Panganiban is currently dating Derek Ramsey. The two of them were in Brazil last December, where Derek took part in a Frisbee competition. The Philippines sweetheart, who had a most precocious childhood with all that early stardom, is now trying to acquire some independence by living alone.

Angelica Panganiban's growing popularity and good looks led to demands that she be pictured in magazine covers and calendars. One of these was for Ginebra San Miguel, a liquor company. However, snapshots taken of Angelica when she was preparing for the photo-shoot, were released on the internet and contrasted greatly with the beautiful pictures in the calendar. These led people to claim that the finished pictures were photoshopped to make her look slim and sexy.

Those photos shown here have Angelica Panganiban, with her hair pulled back tightly, wearing glasses, as the studio people fit her with the bikinis and apply make-up. Since she is not striking a pose, Angelica has relaxed her stomach, and slouched her shoulders; the light is also unflattering. She went to great lengths to claim that these studio pics were taken a month earlier and that at the time of the photoshoot she had lost weight!




But this defense is really unnecessary. For photographs we all try to look our best, in the case of gorgeous young women posing in bikinis, the idea is to thrust out the bosom, suck in the stomach and clench the round and smooth rear end. As in this picture:

Wasn't it Cindy Crawford who said that even I don't look like Cindy Crawford when I get up in the morning? Digital retouching is always done for even the best looking supermodels....so Angelica should relax. She is still very cute and sexy.

And in fact she always has been very body conscious even as a teenager (which young girl hasn't?), trying to control her weight by skipping dinner, eating only oatmeal for breakfast, etc. Right now Angelica is following a sea-food and salad diet for an upcoming movie. She admits that she can't cook!
