Arielle Kebbel has been featured in men's magazines like Maxim (2004), Stuff Magazine (2006), and FHM Croatia (2008). When she first became a celebrity, people said that she resembled a young Britney Spears, and Arielle in an interview with IGN agreed: "When I was getting into the business and Britney was popular, I think that I was never mistaken for her but I was similar enough. I got very used to people asking for my autograph. But that was more back in Florida, not here."





And this all-American blonde is from the south; a native of Winter Park in Florida. In high school Arielle Kebbel was an enthusiastic cheerleader, being captain of the football cheerleading squad as well as of the competitive cheerleading squad!

Arielle Caroline Kebbel was born February 19, 1985 and at the age of 16 entered the Miss Florida Teen USA competition. Arielle was first runner-up overall and also became Miss Amity. In her contest profile, described her career goals (to be an) aspiring actress, model and dancer.



In fact Arielle Kebbel had already started modeling by the age of fourteen. "My first commercial was a public service announcement about date rape," Arielle recalls. "I say, Just because we can dance together doesn't mean we can sleep together. After it aired, there was apparently a huge jump in the number of girls who called rape hotlines," she says. "That," Kebbel adds, "was my first clue I could have impact."



Arielle Kebbel, the blonde cheerleader, also has a sharp brain....she graduated early from high school with a 4.3 GPA. And immediately Arielle and her mother headed for Hollywood to pursue her dream of being an actress. "My mom and I packed up the car, record player first, shipped our clothes out, and drove across country in two and a half days [to Hollywood]. Both of us had never been farther west than Louisiana in a car, so it was really cool."




Mom Sheri Kebbel is now a talent manager who owns a production company called "Off the Cuff".



Within a week of reaching LA, Arielle auditioned for and got a callback for the role of Lindsay Lister on the TV show Gilmore Girls. For the next two-and-a-half years Kebbel was part of a love triangle with Alexis Bledel and Jared Padalecki on the show. Funny thing is, Arielle portrayed a married woman while still being only a teenager. Kebbel also appeared on shows like CSI, Law & Order, Grounded For Life, and was seen in the pilot episode of Entourage.

After she turned 20, Arielle Kebbel began appearing in movies where she usually portrayed a teenager! From horror flicks likes Reeker and Grudge2, a psychological thriller like Daydreamer, and to comedies like Aquamarine, American Pie Band Camp, and John Tucker Must Die.

For her role in Grudge2, Arielle turned into a nerdy brunette, with thick eyebrows and a pair of glasses. But Kebbel kept her hair that color, lost the glasses and fake eyebrows, to turn into a saucy brunette!



Arielle Kebbel will be seen in as many as six upcoming movies. Among them are another supernatural thriller Freakdog and another college comedy titled Mardi Gras. She has been in a relationship with Brahman Turner, who directed Arielle in Daydreamer, for more than 3 years now. She first mentioned the relationship in an interview with Vegas Magazine describing Brahman as, "He's an actor. We met out here in L.A. and it is a special relationship for me because it's the first one away from home."



Arielle Kebbel is 5'8" and has a slim, athletic build. The high school cheerleader is still young and fit enough to not require an elaborate exercise program. In an interview with the LA Times the southern gal described herself as, "A huge fan of Birds Cafe. A lot of times we’ll do dinner with friends at Birds cafe – a quarter chicken with steamed veggies and onion rings."

Arielle also said that she enjoyed drinking "The Hulk", a kind of fruit vegetables and whey protein smoothie, from a health food shop called BodyFactory. Kebbel also said that she exercises (once a week only!!) by either hiking at Runyon or Fryman Canyon, riding a bike, or taking a swim. For her spiritual and mental health, Arielle Kebbel says, "I pray to my altar and I'm very into relaxation, meditation and visualization."
